The main character is Tomasz Skowroński (Adam Woronowicz), an outstanding geneticist from the Institute of Forensic Research obsessed with seeking the truth. After the death of his wife, he became involved with the mysterious Iza Berger (Karolina Gruszka). However, it is not a woman, but work absorbs him completely, and the relationship with his adolescent son Piotr (Maciej Musiałowski) is full of tension. The boy did not come to terms with the death of his mother and does not accept the absent, fundamental father. The conflict escalates when Piotr starts a forbidden affair with his father's partner.
